Lympheo was founded in 2025 in Montreal by Winnie Vorihilala, resulting from a personal and family history, and above all from a deep and sincere desire to put her expertise in data science and artificial intelligence at the service of patients with lymphedema.
By combining strategic vision and concrete experience in AI product management, she aspires to contribute to a more innovative , connected and human approach to lymphedema care.

 

Lymphedema is a chronic disease that requires daily monitoring and care.
Lympheo was born from this need: to facilitate patient monitoring through simple, intelligent and accessible technologies.

 

Beyond the tool, Lympheo connects patients with each other, creating a global community of mutual aid and support to break the isolation often associated with the disease.

 

Joined by Mukundh Jayapal, an Artificial Intelligence scientist specializing in computer vision, also a teaching assistant at McGill University , and then by Leila Othenin-Girard, an Artificial Intelligence engineer specializing in sensor data analysis and deep learning, the core team of Lympheo — powered by Mila e-lab — embodies strong values: innovation, collaboration, integrity, mutual support and research.
